«ÊÊ Interconnect» LLP is a joint venture, created
by National Nuclear Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kras Corporation
Group (USA, P.S.) and US Government Defence Enterprise Foundation
within the frames of Inter-Governmental Agreement between the Republic
of Kazakhstan and United States of America "On Destruction
of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles SILO Launchers, Liquidation
of Emergency Consequences, and non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons"
and Threat Reduction Program of the US Government sponsored by Nunn-Lugar
foundation.
The main objective of the "ÊÊ Interconnect"
consist in the participation in the military conversion scheme of
the former nuclear Semipalatinsk Test Site and employment of NNC
RK technical staff and scientific brainpowers with the further purpose
of high-technologies manufacture development within the Republic
of Kazakhstan.
The main company activities:
- Manufacture of consumer electronics;
- Manufacture of monitors, computers and computer components;
- Manufacture of telecommunication equipment;
- High technologies
Development of telecommunication equipment manufacture primary concerned within the projects of JSC "Kazakhtelecom" and may be subdivided relatively into the following sectors:
- PSM compacting cards maintenance and production;
- production of terminal digital technique for ISDN;
- current power protection module production;
- Manufacture of automatic telephone system for rural areas;
The General Agreement between "ÊÊ Interconnect" LLP and the German Company "ELCON Systemtechnik" on "General technology transfer for digital communication techniques and network ISDN terminal equipment production at the "ÊÊ Interconnect" LLP production facilities" was signed initially.
At the present time, the Service Center is established within the "ÊÊ Interconnect" correspondingly engaged on after-sales services of ELCON Systemtechnik PSM production systems. Staff of the Service Center was initially trained in Germany
HDSL equipment originally developed by "ELCON Systemtechnik" is based on the up-to date semiconductor technology and offered solution of data transfer via twin wire copper cable with data transfer rate up 64 bit/s to 2048 bit/s with the aid of standard Õ.21/V.35 or ISDN multiplex data terminal. Equipment is appears with high productivity, functional reliability, ease of handling, and low power consumption. Presently, two HSDL systems are on the test procedures at JSC "Kazakhtelecom" units.
One of the advanced sectors of the company activity is production of consumer electronics. Within the framework of this sector "ÊÊ Interconnect" LLP in collaboration with "LG Electronics" company has established monitors production factory with the unique productivity up to 500 units per working cycle.
The pioneering idea of establishment of own production of monitors in Kazakhstan has arisen in 1999. Since then the company carried out the extensive marketing research on the monitors market status in Kazakhstan. The final business plan with the advanced profit outlook was developed on the basis of this research works corresponding with available manufacturing experience of "KK Interconnect" LLP at the Kurchatov City and Alatau Village.
With the assistance of experts of LG Electronics Company, the engineering staff of "KK Interconnect" LLP has accomplished the assembly and starting-up adjustment works for monitors manufacture process.
The employees of "KK Interconnect" LLP have been trained on the subject of equipment service and maintenance, assembly and complete adjustment of monitors. Manufacture is certified by the LG Electronics company staff and meets the international standards on monitor's production.
Due the corporate activities, "KK Interconnect" LLP is follows the policy of regular quality improvement of manufacture, production output and services directed to customers needs and prospective requests on the foreseeable future, in the presence of competitive price on products and services rendering by our company. For the solving of these tasks, the System of Quality Management of consumer electronics manufacture appropriated to the requirements of the International Quality Standard ISO 9001:2000 was developed and implemented.
In support of successful work in this direction was the receipt of the Certificate of Conformity to the International Quality Standard ISO 9001-2000 issuing by the company "ORION Registrar" (USA).
The company "KK Interconnect" has mastered the newly implemented line - the manufacture of PC cases. The PC cases of modern design and various shape factors are placed within the product range.
The Department of Network Solutions is established for the purpose of the assemblage of fire alarming and automatic fire-fighting systems, security intruder alarm and video security systems and assemblage of structured cable systems.
The Division on Spare Parts Supply for the service centers engaged in repair of consumer electronics of famous brands is successfully operated within the Logistic Department.
With the purpose of development of information technologies, the Department of Software Development are established and successfully operated within the company.
The Department of Innovation Techniques, engaged in the project development and its further manufacturing application is established at LLP «ÊÊ Interconnect».
